Mircea Pricajan was born in Oradea on 2 September 1980. He made his literary debut in 1997, when he published a short story in a local newspaper. In 2002 he published his novel In the Dense Shade of Reality. He has translated fifty five books from English. He has edited a number of online literary magazines and in 2012 he founded The Magazine of Suspense. He has edited two themed anthologies of short prose.
